Pros

The company has a great overview for the future and will only continue to expand, if you get a chance to speak with the higher levels of management you will come away very impressed.

Cons

The cons of working for any shipping company or really any service industry is that the customer is never wrong and if packages are not shipped on time, all hell will break loose and you need to call them down even if they are erratic.

Pros

There aren't any pros. Exceot maybe that they pay on salary and allow you to take a lunch break for 1-2 hours. i go home and nap or i go get a haircut

Cons

Management is inappropriate toward each other in front of other staff. One female management has been sleeping with employees (along with the two male management) or they lose their jobs. This is why the turnover rate is so high. She will either fire them or treat them bad until they quit. She has a very bad attitude toward those who WONT sleep with her adn she is very flirtatious toward men

Pros

Commute was close... ONLY positive!!

Cons

Job training was a joke! And once officially doing the job , you are often reprimanded for things you have never been trained to do. Huge retention problem, I've never seen so many people get up and leave a job and the office (GCD) is not a big operation to lose so many people. Schedules are constantly changed to fit managements needs and management is very unprofessional on all levels. Office in Chantilly is a newer location, however computers and office equipment is old and out of date. There is no work life balance and you will be expected to work Saturdays and Sundays as a new hire. Benefits are ok but you have to wait 90 days to get them, and most people don't last that long. Honestly the worst job I have ever had on so many levels. Beware!! What you are told is not the reality once you are hired.
