Pros

Pretty easy to get days off with your PTO, don't have to ask the supervisor directly. Sometimes there was free food and raffle prizes for employees Most of the team leads were helpful when you had questions

Cons

Their idea of phone service is quantity over quality of calls. It doesn't matter to them if you do all the calls correctly and solve the problems for the customer if you don't meet their arbitrary call goals. The issue for some people working there is that hardly anyone calls the last hour that you're there (8-9 PM) and yet they're expected to get the same amount of calls on average as people working in the busy morning hours. Even if they know you'd be easily making the goal of 70 average calls if you were working an earlier hour they'll still fire you and won't budge on moving you to an earlier shift or working the email queue.

Thank you for your feedback. As you referenced, One Call prides itself on being the nation’s leading provider of specialized services to the workers’ compensation industry. As such, One Call employees gain experience in both the medical and workers’ compensation industries with potential for growth. While all offices do follow the same model for career growth and development, our corporate headquarters may seem to have greater potential for growth due to its size, with the majority of employees and positions being housed there. However, there is opportunity in locations around the country as well. Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience with us, and for your loyal service of 10 years!

Pros

-fun coworkers -tuition reimbursement -blah blah (they wouldn't let me submit the review with less then 5 words)

Cons

This has been recently been bought out by someone who is taking away ALL incentives, outsourcing departments, and doesn't seem to address the fact that major customers are switching to other vendors since we keep messing up claims from lack of training and not holding employees responsible for their mistakes. Since the company is constantly loosing employees, they are hiring anyone they can get just to fill in the spaces. I can keep going on but honestly i would be surprised if the company stays afloat this next year. The pay and management is a joke. I promise you, you will find something better....Good luck!
