Pros

Friendly people, cool office in Willis Tower

Cons

No work-life balance, micro-management, very little personal time (30 mins) which you have to use to go to the bathroom, horrible hours, bad pay, no room for growth, high turnover rate. No incentives to do well. You will have a day with 4 sales and they will expect you to come in everyday after doing the same thing. You will be made to feel bad if you take days off for any sort of reason and they make you provide sick notes like you are in high school. If you value your mental health, avoid this entry level position at ALL costs.

Pros

Really cool people and the training was fun and I learned.

Cons

-you are monitored 24/7 you need to clock out for bathroom breaks only have 30 of personal don’t even think about showing back up from lunch late -once you are on the floor all the things they said about being ethical and not taking advantage of old people goes out the door. I got in trouble because I didn’t want to risk changing someone’s insurance because it would mess up their treatment and I got a warning because I told her to hang up and not switch

Pros

You get a 1 hour break Two 15min breaks

Cons

I’ve observed that could have ethical and reputational implications. There are situations where clients—particularly those on Medicare—are being encouraged to switch plans in ways that may not be in their best interest. For example, a client may be persuaded to switch to a plan that significantly increases their copays or out-of-pocket expenses, and the benefit presented might be something minimal like a $12 increase in Social Security income. In addition, I’ve noticed that high-pressure tactics are sometimes used in these conversations. Clients are often given limited time to make a decision, or they’re presented with exaggerated consequences to create a sense of urgency or fear. These scare tactics can make clients feel they have no other option but to switch plans, even when the switch may not be financially or medically beneficial to them.
