Pros

There’s just enough work-life balance to make you think you’re in a stable role. Benefits are mid, and coworkers at the branch level are usually supportive because we’re all in the same boat.

Cons

This job took more from me than it ever gave. What starts as a sales or customer service role quickly becomes relentless collections work. You're pressured to hit unrealistic numbers while chasing down past-due accounts day in and day out. It’s emotionally draining, ethically questionable at times, and leaves little room for personal growth. The role changed dramatically over the years, but the expectations only increased. Looking back, I regret not leaving sooner, I stayed far too long, hoping it would get better.

Pros

District and branch managers typically care about their teams. While each team has its own unique characteristics, good performance is recognized and supported with incentives. Employees can take advantage of bonus programs and commissions. The company offers an excellent benefits package that includes options such as prepaid legal services, pet insurance, 401(k) matching, as well as health, vision, and dental coverage. Work-life balance is prioritized, so employees can enjoy generous vacation time, paid time off, sick leave, and flexible hours in certain cases.

Cons

The pay is not competitive compared to other titles in the industry. The company frequently shifts its focus to new goals and projects, often introducing new initiatives without any clear explanation. While team members are expected to feel excited about these changes, they often don’t understand the reasons behind them.

Pros

It’s a job I get my weak paycheck on time I love our customers

Cons

The system never works, management has no power, they do not give you a raise even if you are #1-5 for every single metric. They don’t compensate for the fact that you are the person who takes the calls, works the apps, verifies the customers ability to pay, underwrites and assesses everything, does the titling, closes the loan and funds it all, and collects on it when payments are late, as well as handles the loss mitigation part. I have been top for many years and never one raise. They always have some reason for making you take the hit for not receive incentive pay
