Good benefits, compassion for colleagues from upper level management. Decent opportunity for bonuses. Great way to get into lending.

Cons

If you have a manager who lacks leadership, you will not be motivated for long, not have constructive feedback or consistent support. Branch Managers are left to do as they wish. Very goal driven business. You'll work more than you expect if you're in a busy branch. You do not have enough time in the day to think things over or properly prepare. My experience has been in a very busy branch, lower volume branches with strong leaders probably yield a much more positive experience. The learning process at the beginning is very rushed and overwhelming.
