Pros

Onward Search is constantly evolving and looking for ways to keep everyone engaged while working remotely. They are always looking for new ways to improve their training so everyone can be successful. They have a collaborative culture - no one is competitive with each other, except in a fun way. The executive team and management genuinely care about the success of each employee, and offer plenty of growth opportunities. They truly do live by their values through each interaction with one another, clients, and candidates.

Cons

As any company, they hit their rough patch with the COVID-19 pandemic, but they quickly adjusted and are working hard to constantly improve their tactics to ensure everyone’s success. All in all, I wouldn’t consider this a con.

As a current employee and someone who has experience working at previous staffing firms prior to Onward I can truly say that OS embodies what it means to work for a great company with strong leadership across markets. Onward has created a wealth of opportunity not only for myself, several of my colleagues and continues to drive forward even during the unprecedented times. The formula is simple, work hard, see the results, get recognized and rewarded.

no cons to share at this time. OS is continually evolving to stay up to date with current trends and concepts to keep employees engaged and connected.

Pros

Onward used to be one of the best staffing agencies to work for but lack of retention, all male leadership, and family ties are just some of the few things that have been their downfall.

Cons

If you aren’t on of the few top producers and male there isn’t much for you here. The few that have stayed hold all the large accounts. Salaries are minimum and your commissions are pennies on the dollar especially on full time. There is little support for actually getting fees from clients, and marketing is years behind.
