      I've had an amazing experience working at Onward so far! I truly enjoy the work I do and the people I get to work with. There's no micromanagement, which allows me to feel respected and trusted in my role. There are plenty of opportunities for growth, and senior leadership is very transparent about the company's goals, providing clear, actionable steps to achieve them. The culture is incredibly welcoming and engaging. Even though the team is remote, the culture committee does a fantastic job organizing events and initiatives like virtual games and photo challenges to help us connect on a more personal level.

      Cons

      Being remote means there's not always a lot of opportunity to meet coworkers in person, but the company makes an effort to bridge this gap with engaging activities.

      I have enjoyed my time at Onward Search. The company provides tons of opportunities to learn new skills and provides great training. We have a generous PTO policy. Great team with open communication styles, and the leadership team is transparent about updates within the company.

      So far no complaints, I have enjoyed my first year here.

      Horrible Company to Work For

      100% Remote and team activities

      Cons

      Typical day of work consists of a ton of pointless meetings that takes you away from your day to day operations of bringing in business. They are super focused on metrics instead of the reality of what's going on in the world. Leadership will tag along on client visits as a way to let a Business Development rep go in order to steal hard earned business. The training was non-existent for the first 3 months of being employed here. Just an overall horrible experience for a company that made so many promises to get you onboard.
