Pros

Was hoping to stay on board after OpenText acquired Dell EMC.

Cons

OpenText acquired Dell EMC's Enterprise Content Division which resulted in acquiring about 2000 employees and then laying off most of them. I was in limbo for 4 months and then got laid off. So I don't have anything positive about being part of OpenText. I wish I would have been able to stay on board to try out the company.

Pros

Plenty of work. OpenText is acquiring companies at an unsustainable pace and has not staffed up to support the model........house of cards.

Cons

No options or equity stake for Manager & Director level. ESSP offers no value. Middle management does all the work. VP level and above are poorly aligned across functional teams and cannot make decisions.

Pros

The clients are a joy to work. co-workers are energetic and fun to interact with.

Cons

management does not use common sense or logic with deciding policies. Policies change daily so very difficult to stay within the boundaries from day to day.
