Felt overworked and unappreciated by management

Pros

Free/reduced internet services. 1 hour lunch with certain schedules Somewhat flexible shifts for students

Cons

Too much mandatory overtime (2011-2017) that would count against you if you didn't show. Managers and supervisors not enough time to coach or train. HR only cared to save their own rear and didn't care for employees. Phone reps were treated as replaceable by management. Selling in every customer interactive department. It was difficult to sell in tech support. How can you sell if their service is already broken? Almost no cool down time in-between calls. back to back until an official break or lunch scheduled. Restroom breaks or 'personal' time extremely founded upon and I almost got written up for excessive use. Save your bladder until breaks, or don't drink any water on shift. Any time not on a call or that isn't pre-scheduled counts negatively on your report card.

Pros

The money is pretty good and the opportunity to move around is okay.

Cons

The management has run the business into the ground by outsourcing most of the jobs and going with 3rd party technicians. Contractors and outsourced call centers have ruined Suddenlink's once proud name so they're changing it to Optimum until they ruin that too.

Pros

no pros to list for this company

Cons

micro management style direct from the 1970s, the retention was so bad that they formed a 5 manager committee to come up with ideas to keep reps... in the first month they had 2 of those managers quit! LOL The day I left so did 2 other sales reps. Not only were you selling you had to act as collections also, I had the full years quota in the first 5 weeks of the year, NO RECOGNITION for that.
