Pros

Work culture Remote work Good pay and benefits Great colleagues and supporting environment

Cons

Projects scope gets changed all the time. There is no clear picture of what we will do next. In the last 2 years, I have been working on 4 different migrations for a single project and all of them incomplete due to upper management changes Frequent layoffs and no warn notices. Layoffs people from usa and hire and expand team from india.

Pros

The people you work with on a daily basis, but the execs could not care less about the employees

Cons

Significantly under-compensated and overworked. Optum does not value their employees or compensate appropriately for high performance.

Health insurance is very poor

Business Outlook

Pros

Salary, $ for CEUs, potential for other job opportunities within company, recognition of excellent work

Cons

Poor health insurance options, little upward mobility for NPs to be managers/directors. Some decisions are more based on $$ but are spun as being good for patients. Many hiring freezes and some lay offs despite company making big money.$$$. Push to work outside of business hours because they did hire more staff
