Pros

Minimum wage plus tips from the day. That averaged to about $20-$21 an hour after taxes. Start early and finish early.

Cons

very stressful work environment and the current owner is a piece of work. He fired the general manager of the restaurant after refusing to give his promised bonus. Then he fired any employee that didn't look like they loved to eat, sleep, and breathe the pancake house. The manager and owner have exact one brain cell to share between the two of them and it's mostly the manager using it.

Pros

Decent money when you actually are a waitress (guest rep), or if you’re one of the chosen favorites. Customers are fairly nice, and work stations fairly clean.

Cons

Money is not good when you divide it by the joke of a breakfast bar, and food running shifts. Managers talk trash on all employees, including other managers, or higher up employees. Lots of drama, basically exactly like high school. Manager clicks up with chosen few. Says they love to help, but most employees are afraid to ask for it because of fear of feeling inadequate. Zero patience and poor training to new employees. Current guest reps will do anything to not help a new guest rep, even though its part of their job to train. Managers promise hours and then cut them whenever they need bonuses. Food runners get screwed by lack of communication from the kitchen. I would work here again if I wanted to work somewhere for 1-2 days per week and get micromanaged consistently.

Cons

After 8years of working the owners wouldn't try to further my career to be a cook but would constantly hire new cooks that would work for a few months before quitting.
