Pros

After having worked for a large, retail bank for nearly 20 years, joining the Advisor Group family was the best decision I've made in my career! CEO Jamie Price is a breath of fresh air. His enthusiasm, candor, and zeal for teamwork is unmatched and inspiring. Executives are approachable and warm to conversation and employees are empowered to lead and are rewarded for our efforts. I'm nearing my 1 year anniversary with Advisor Group and it's been such a joy to work here. Best professional decision I've ever made.

Cons

None that I can think of.

Pros

Advisor Group has competitive salaries and a generous bonus program. There is a nice benefits package and matching 401k. Since AG became independent in 2016 there have been many changes for the better. It is amazing what has been accomplished in such a short period of time.

Cons

Having to drive in traffic!

Pros

Everyone at advisor group understands the company's mission and core values. It has made a huge impact across the footprint and has been great to see the transformation! People are working in teams, sharing information, and coming up with innovative ideas. Leadership not only listens to employees but acts upon what they hear. They encourage employee to share ideas that help foster and grow our values. People from all different locations, departments, and levels are asked about how we can make the company a better place to work. The outcome is that people work harder and smarter and take pride in their work. People are reaching across functional departments to share experiences and collaborate on challenges and this is something that we never did before.

Cons

I really don't have any cons about the company or the direction they are moving in. I have been a part of a company before that was sold to another entity and it was for the worse. I had a lot of fears about leaving our parent company but they were unfounded. It is a better place to work now that we are an independent company! I love the direction the leadership team is taking us!
