Pros

A novel approach to developing therapeutics via bone marrow (no other major companies are doing this the way Ossium is). Fast-paced startup environment (no two days are ever the same) Opportunity to develop life-saving therapies and make a real impact on individuals' lives Great team and internal mobility

Cons

All of the cons typical of an early-stage biotech (for example: Uncertainty of long-term clinical success). Also some challenges due to having two offices (SF and Indianapolis).

Pros

With the company still being fairly new and developing, you work with many different departments, giving a really good understanding of the company as a whole. Company is growing fast with extremely positive people who are dedicated to Ossium's mission and goals.

Cons

I haven't had anything negative about Ossium. Onboarding remotely due to the pandemic was difficult, but the team made it much easier than it should have been.

Pros

Ossium leadership listens to employees and actively pushes them to be their best version, personally and professionally. Leadership is consistently checking in, giving resources to help tackle problems, mentoring during challenging times, and takes advice into account to better the process, product, or method. They really want to see you succeed. It is also very rewarding working for a company where you know you will make a true impact on patients' lives. It is very fulfilling being part of the advancement of science through production of deceased donor marrow products.

Cons

I don't have any true downsides to comment on, but there is still a semi-startup feel to Ossium. In order to flourish in this environment, one needs to be relatively flexible and be able to juggle multiple projects at a time.
