Pros

The team I work with is great, and I love the way we are able to support each other. I will miss them after I accept my new job.

Cons

I think the best I can say about Ossium is that I am thankful that this is very early in my career, because now I know all the hallmarks of a consistently underperforming CEO. The VPs of the company is leaving at an alarming rate, customers and business partners are consistently being misled and don't even get me started on the regulatory pathway for our actual products and the numerous lawsuits.

Pros

Being a part of the production team has been a good experience by being able to learn cleanroom techniques, new equipment and organically learning from more experienced people from various departments

Cons

It is a start up so there is always upcoming changes being made regardless of leadership communicating a message of "stability" Throughout the years I've experienced needing to learn one product line, to now three different product lines while maintaining the same job role/pay. However not everyone is treated equally. As the company grows they are making a new team that would specialize in a certain product. If you are not chosen for that team, you are expected to know and be competent of all their product processes and to my understanding we all still have similar titles and pay structures. The supervisors on the team are fairly new and young, some supervisors have clear favorites, some are college buddies, direct referrals that become their direct reports. It is clear that they favorite their friends on a daily basis. Nick is one of the good supervisors as he tends to be the most mature of the group. They incentivize the team with sterility targets, yet we continuously fall short with little to no feedback on how we can improve, its mostly communicated that incoming material was contaminated so we are basically set up to fall short of our goals. There doesnt seem to be metrics for promotions besides tenure, so its a culture that doesn't reward hard working employees and just hands out promotions based off work anniversaries.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and suggestions; we value your commitment to Ossium and your contributions to our Clinical Production team. We’re always excited to be able to promote from within, and with that there are often challenges for the new supervisors as they navigate changing relationships and work dynamics. We've just rolled out a new program for people managers at Ossium that is specifically designed for those who are new to management roles. This program offers support, guidance, and tactical tips for those in management roles and will help reinforce the high standards that we set for all our managers here. Regarding the sterility incentives, we’ve already updated the program for 2024 based on similar feedback we received from others in Clinical Production; targets have been modified to ensure that we’re not holding the team accountable for outside errors. We’re excited to have the sterility incentive in place and look forward to celebrating the team’s accomplishments this year. We encourage you to share more details internally through one of our open communication channels so that we can continue to collaborate on making Ossium a great place to work: • Quarterly engagement surveys (100% anonymous) • Fireside Chats with the CEO (100% anonymous) • People Team Office Hours • CSO Office Hours • Ask Me Anything with the VP, Technical Operations (100% anonymous) • 1:1s with your direct supervisor/manager Feel free to reach out to me directly as well if you'd like to discuss any of this live! We value the feedback, even when it's not positive, and strive to learn from it. Jay VP, People & Talent

Pros

Ossium health is a great start up job for anyone looking to kick of their career. We are also family oriented work environment.

Cons

There are a lot of cons of working at Ossium for me. 1. It is not organized at all. Something is changing every month and will always be something new to the process. 2. Some of management and co workers are not professional and only act like they are busy or doing their jobs when people are around. Productions management is okay , but nick really is the best one. The people on support aren’t really great either. Only Andrew and kalia is her name I believe are good on support. I don’t think the support management or manager does really good at his job helping them at all. 3. Being in a clean for more than 4 plus hours can be overbearing. Some days your not in a clean room and then it can get very boring. 4. The pay could be better especially for having a bachelors degree and having such a important role in a job. I’m really still here because of the great benefits and would love it more if it was more orangized.

We appreciate you sharing your feedback here. While we're happy to hear you find Ossium Health a good starting point for your career and value our work environment, we recognize that there are areas where we can improve. Ossium is a fast-growing startup, and the pace can be demanding to keep up with. 2023 was a year of incredible growth at Ossium, and of course with that comes a lot of change. Frequent changes in processes can be challenging, and yet we know that continuous improvement is critical for us as we work to address unmet needs in our current healthcare ecosystem. As we move into 2024, we are working to streamline workflows and make smaller iterations of our current protocols; this includes updates to our Clinical Production processes that would reduce the amount of time spent in the clean room. Regarding your concerns about certain managers and colleagues, we take professionalism seriously and will address your feedback internally. We strongly encourage you to share specific instances with our People Team so we can understand more about what you’re experiencing; it’s critically important for us to ensure everyone feels respected and valued in the workplace. I’d also encourage you to participate in our quarterly engagement surveys, which are an important way we track overall employee satisfaction and solicit direct feedback about Ossium and ways we can improve. We hope you find a path to success, whether within Ossium or elswhere. Kevin, CEO & Co-Founder
