Pros

Not very many. Fair compensation. Good employees to work with but the most incompetent management and autocratic style ever worked with.

Cons

Terrible unfeeling managers. Do not know how to communicate with employees. Very stuffy atmosphere and very unwelcoming employer. Mislead you to believe a good place to work. No recognition. No Christmas parties, birthdays absolutely nothing. Understaffed and treated poorly.

Pros

Benefits are okay - healthcare, 50% tuition reimbursement, and always cash positive (72 years consecutive profits).

Cons

You are a mushroom - kept in the dark and management feeds you poop. Definitely on a need to know basis. Some people get promoted because of strictly ass kissing, not on their professional capability.

Pros

Close to a Park and Ride. Get to use old computers, feels like a trip down memory lane. Challenging tasks with little resources. Consistent shareholder return. Some awesome coworkers, the ones that still care.

Cons

PACCAR is managed from the top down. Projects are started, implemented and killed by decree from Mr. Pigott. Upper level management ensures these decrees are followed without question, regardless of the laws of physics. Computers that are almost 8 years old. Its a career limiting move to ask for time off without pay or comp time. Reduce project budgets but not scope = workforce putting in free overtime. Unrealistic project implementations. Dress code: shirt & tie. No ear rings, no long hair, no BEARDS, visiting the corporate office, bring your suit. Observing what happens to courageous employees who have spoken up or raised issues with Mr. Pigott/Pigott minions - ensures employees bite tongues rather then suffer a backlash. Pay scales below industry average. No COLA. Company kept H1B visa workers while laying off US workers.
