Pros

The office is very clean and modern with lots of space. Decent schedule flexibility (although you will be looked at funny and people will start babbling about your schedule sooner than later, so you just have to ignore that).

Cons

Virtually impossible to get promoted! Lots of promises and "dangling of the carrot", but no follow through whatsoever. Tiny annual raises. Lies, lies, lies and TONS of drama all over the place at PDS. The whole exec team and department managers basically play all employees like pawns on a chessboard (what they refer to as their "platform"). They don't care about you and you are disposable garbage to them. People are dropping like flies at PDS and I know bunch more that are trying to leave as we speak. Management is EXTREMELY SHADY!!!!! Don't trust ANYONE! Beautiful building. Terrible politics. Mentally awful. Lies and corruption at it's finest! Also after five years my vacation time has never been increased, and every time I ask about it they avoid me. Another thing is it's one of those super overly religious companies. I'm absolutely fine with religion, but don't push it on everyone please. PDS is fueled by greed, lies and corruption and they will run you ragged only to line their own pockets and give you pennies. Overall this place SUCKS!!

Pros

The weekends. With the training I received at PDS, I can sell any used car or beach front property in Arizona.

Cons

Management will try to dictate doctor treatment, and if you refuse to rip patients off, you are gone. Doctors are trained to read off a script, and trained to manipulate patients into case acceptance. Numbers and profit proceed patient care. Don't be fooled with these responses from pds talking about "shoulder to shoulder" training between owner docs and associate docs in response to these negative reviews, because management would never go into partnership with an owner doc that doesn't believe in their vision on profit before ethical patient care. Owner docs are nothing but brainwashed pawns for pacific. Read your contract carefully, if you are fired for any reason, they will hold any bonuses owed to you for 90days in which they will cook the books during that time to ensure that you get next to nothing in the end. Also I have witnessed disturbing violations of both patient privacy and doctor patient confidentiality during my time there. I've had more than one office manager who thought it was okay to record my interactions with patients without consent from either the patient or myself. As dentists, it is our duty to be patient advocates and to ensure that care comes before dollars, and protect the sacred relationship of patient docter confidentiality.

Pros

Good pay and benefits. Met great people.

Cons

Higher Management will work you long hours and only give recognition to their friends. Don't work here if you want to start a family because chances are they will demote you if you try. I have always loved companies I have worked for in the past, but will never refer anyone to this company in my life.Don't be fooled their morals are not good STAY AWAY!!!!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are always looking for ways we can improve in areas such as work/life balance. We agree that all employees, whether they have a family or not, should be treated with respect and appreciated for their efforts. That being said, we will definitely pass your suggestions onto our leadership team. Thank you.
