Pros

The layout of the onsite location is pretty nice. We had casual Fridays and fun employee engagements.

Cons

Biggest con for me was that this company hits billion dollar revenue yet for Employee Appreciation we get a cookie? This company has employees donating out of their own pocket to support their water charity. I'd assume with the tax breaks that brings in, we'd get more than a cookie.

We appreciate your feedback. We're not sure about the cookie, but we do have a wonderful Rewards & Recognition program that includes our monthly "You're Extraordinary" awards that team members receive for going above and beyond and our annual XP that celebrates and awards extraordinary performers throughout the country at a weeklong event. As for our annual fundraiser for charity: water, 100% of every dollar goes to charity: water and to building wells where water is inaccessible. 771 million people around the world live without access to clean water. We are committed to changing that. Our supported practices offer patients $100 towards treatment when they donate $30. We also offer our team members the opportunity to get involved with their teams by organizing their own events that in the past have included used book sales and nacho bars at lunchtime. You may recall how excited team members get. As fun as that all is, we don't ask for anyone to give "out of their own pocket" unwillingly. All participation is voluntary. We have an organization filled with team members who love to make a positive impact on their communities and the world and we really love that about us.

Pros

Good benefits— no denying that

Cons

Horrible office managers and narcissistic doctors. HR is awful with former employee concerns and never get back to you. When they do you’re pretty much the problem not the company. And practically No home life, prolonged hours and weird schedules.

Pros

As others have mentioned, they have standard benefits (medical/vision). Dental is essentially “discounted” cash rates you pay. 401k, vacation. Computerized trainings. You get the typical resources of a DSO.

Cons

Your experience with management will vary by region/office. Corporate has their established philosophies and procedures but it’s ultimately up to the region to actually execute on them. Ultimately behind all the fluff words thrown about and the “we believe’s”, the only thing that matters is how profitable you are. If the money is rolling in, no one really cares on how it’s done. Unfortunately this leads to lack of caring. Lack of caring on the doctor’s needs. Lack of caring on the employees. And lack of caring to the patients. You see an incredible amount of turn over from front office/back office which leads to no one really knowing what they are doing. Patients become frustrated and employees become frustrated for becoming punching bags without the knowledge or resources to make effective changes. Those who stay either don’t know they can do better elsewhere or are simply buying time to build experience on their resume.
