Pros
I love my team. The energy is great, everyone has an upbeat personality and we all mesh well together. I feel like we are providing quality dental care and providing a good experience for patients. I enjoy coming to work everyday.(:
Cons
It seams we are understaffed all the time and we don't hire or keep people on the clock due to money/ numbers. I feel like if there arent patients for a little then we should be able to stay on the clock and stay busy of coarse. Weather that's cleaning, calling pts etc. We can't start same day treatment if people are getting set home all the time. We come to work to work not sit around off the clock not getting paid for our time, gas etc. One of my coworkers is part time and doesnt get bonus although her Dr is one of the highest producing in the company. Also we run short on supplies a lot due to having a small budget and not allowed to exceed that amount. In order to make more money we need to put money into more supplies. I've been with the same office for 3 years and I have gotten raises but I'm still living paycheck to paycheck. I was told due to my position I am limited as how much I'm able to make. I agree to some extent this is true. However I believe I should be payed based on my skill set and employability. It says on this website a dental assistant for this company is making $21 an hour, I make $13.
