A waste of five years

Pros

You get paid. Their 401k match is sad. You have to put in six years to get vesting for at most $3-$4k.

Cons

Lazy front desk staff don’t want to work or present treatment plans. They lie and make up stories so they don’t have to do their jobs. The hygienist is corrupted and wants to do scaling on every patient. She’s a diva and dishonest. The management backs her because they don’t want to punish someone who makes money for them. They’ll cheat you on your collections bonus.

Pros

I liked my patients. They came in cluelessly and thought PDS was a Christian company so they would be treated decently.

Cons

1. Up sell. Drain patients pocket. 2. Up sell for hygienist. And specialist. The gp spend the time talking and referring without getting the effort compensated. 3. They train the doctor to be monkeys,Not practitioner. How so? everything is Cerec!no skill in filling no more. Where were the skill you learn from dental school? gone. Vanished with the hungry craving Cerec machine. You will lose skill in making denture and molar root canals and also fillings. But you will be a flat prep expert without any critical thinking of retention of an abutment. 4. They don’t respect new doctors time. I was hired full time. When they didn’t have patients they tell me to go home and i didn’t get paid. 5. The manager changed my treatment plan. That was the most unacceptable part. Cus they are money hungry. Every single filling turned into Cerec rec rec rec.

Pros

Learn how to do CEREC dentistry Specialists in house

Cons

Poor compensation for the amount of work and a lot of no compensation busy work such as redoing previous dentist’s poor crown or inlay work at no charge to patient but no transparency if you ever get compensated for it. Pressure to see more people without any value on quality work.
