Pros

The people are generally solid and know what they're doing. Work-life balance for those in Engineering is not bad. If you want to just do a 40-hour dev job, you'll do fine.

Cons

Executive leadership is misaligned and out of touch. Business pressures are tough because of the market, but the micro-management especially by the top results in scattershot product development and engineering work. There isn't enough vision and support from Execs to feel like it's the right place for long-term growth.

Pros

An amazing work environment with wonderful people who care about what they do and their contributions to PLACE as a whole. Flexible work hours, good benefits, and an atmosphere that feels more like a career than a "job". After working 3 years in banking and finding myself in a professional slump, PLACE restored my faith in how successful companies should treat employees.

Cons

I actually want to spend more time at work now because I enjoy what I do. Having a hard time finding any other "cons".
