Pros

Ability to work from home.

Cons

Training was rushed due to mass hiring event. Management is more concerned with "productivity numbers" to make themselves look good. Management will reward employees that complete duties quickly, even if that means the work is done incorrectly or is not done to completeness. Was told for a year that my work was great, and that I was on the right track for promotion. Once my one year mark was coming, I was told that I would be placed on a work probation due to my work. I was completely blind-sided by this until I realized that I would be unable to be promoted with this probation.

All male upper management out of touch

Pros

You do have the ability to move up and around in the company if you apply yourself

Cons

Pay, PNC pays about 25 percent less than other financial institutions its size. Raises are under 3 percent Upper management and CEO are out of touch with how much WFH benefits their employees especially single parents and mothers. After being remote and changing our entire lives around for the better then forcing us to go back into the office because the male upper management wants to micro manage our day. We have been effectively doing our jobs from home for the past 3 years, what is the point?

Pros

Stable company. Great people to work with. Everyone is willing to help.

Cons

Training is a train wreck. Too many video modules to go through that are unrelated to the job. Training was an hour a day for a month, and mixed with people that work all different jobs within the company. After training my manager is pushing me to do a job that training never taught me how to do. Mentor is great, but has to do his job also, so his time is limited to helping you succeed. The mentor is not taught how to train, just knows how to do his job, so you may not learn how to do the job correctly. You'll learn how he does the job.
