Pros

There are nice people who work there.

Cons

Not family friendly. Can’t afford family health insurance. Can’t leave before 3 if child is sick. Oh and the best part, was forced to come back to the office during the pandemic when phase 2 began but child care was not available yet. If you couldn’t come back at a certain time you were let go....

Pros

They pay you at a very high salary.

Cons

Benefits are not standard. You pay a high premium from your pocket when signing up for family health benefits. No work from home option. No work hours flexibility yet they prefer you to work more than 10 hours. Very hesitant to grant leave request.

Pros

Introduction to recruiting industry for new graduates

Cons

The CEO is an unorganized, ego-maniac, narcissist. The leadership team follows blindly and is equally unorganized. There’s a lack of accountability at the highest level of leadership and we all suffer for it. This place is toxic. Leadership will say one thing, the CEO will say another… neither communicates well and they contradict each other. They put the blame on the employees saying that they don’t know how to do their jobs & find arbitrary reasons to fire people, deeming them “not the right fit for the culture.” If you’re not one of his cronies there’s no trust or job security. They do not have a development plan to help growth from within. Their promotability standards are based on “if the CEO likes you” (i.e how much did you kiss his butt or agree with his inner circle). All the best people have left or are actively looking to leave. The CEO loves to talk about diversity and use it as a marketing and hiring ploy. He doesn’t actually care about diversity though, and has made decisions to undermine employees different from himself and not part of his tiny circle of complacent leads. Employee retention among minorities is especially low. Huge red flag. I wouldn’t recommend working here
