Pros

They worked with me on my schedule, my pay was competitive, managers and customer service employees were always in a good mood. As a baker you receive $10 in free food every day you are scheduled to work!

Cons

I opened a new store where I lived and when business slowed down I was the one chosen to be sent to another store which was 40 minutes away from where I lived.

Pros

I enjoy the warm atmosphere that Panera offers while serving a completely clean menu of options. Managers are very accommodating to my schedule while I work part-time.

Cons

Can be hectic in the face of lunch rushes, during which communication between team members can break down. Also, upper management can be slow in accommodating individual stores' needs.

I do not recommend working at Panera Bread

Pros

Panera is very passionate about their food and doing things perfectly. They also have flexible hours.

Cons

Okay so.. I started working at Panera thinking that it would be fun and awesome because when I go in there to eat it's always so relaxing and the people are friendly. Boy was I wrong. During training you literally bust your butt to the point where your feet hurt so bad that you can't even stand anymore. You have to change 4 huge things of coffee every hour on the dot, you're in charge of brewing the tea, cleaning everything up, getting all of the dirty dishes, etc. Plus, on my first paycheck ever, I didn't even get paid for the amount of hours I worked. Seriously, don't work for Panera Bread.
