Pros

there aren’t any. unless you count being treated differently for being “weird” as a pro.

Cons

no breaks, get paid a horrible wage, rude managers who pick favorites and don’t care about you at all and that will insult you behind your back.

Pros

No pros!! It's a scam.

Cons

The company operates under a structure that relies on contracts. Once you sign it you have nothing to complain. You stay or leave. But you will have to loose a couple of weeks to find out that you are not making the numbers and to realize that they are having extraordinary profits from your loss and the usage of your car. It is a catchy offer to drive for Papa John's with the expectation to make money based on a mix salary, hourly pay + tips. There are several aspects tricking candidate's judgement to perceive the offer to join papa John's team as a good opportunity. 1- They offer to pay $10 an hour while the driver is working inside the store waiting to be routed for delivery. The Trick: if the store is running slow they will cut your scheduled hours and send you home. They won't allow no driver to stay more than 4 hours working on the call. So no driver will complete an 8 hours shift on the base of $10. per hour 2- They will offer to pay $5.64 per hour while drivers are on the road. Why? Because. The job position with them offer to gives Drivers the opportunity to make good tips money based on the name, popularity and demand of the company, so drivers are expecting to receive tips that suppose to overpass the wage of $10 hourly. 3-The dispatch system is used to clocks in and out drivers. So the software switches drivers between wages type ($10 and $5.64) and the manager in charge will rout each driver 1 or 2 minute before the order is ready to be packed, so that way the time of preparing the order for delivering counts as time on the road but driver hasn't left the store yet. By doing this the store will fraudulently decrease minute by minutes the computed working time inside the store, reducing the amount of money to be owed to delivery drivers workers. 5- Papa John's charges its customers a $4 delivery fee. It means that mostly customers won't give a tip because they are already paying for the delivery . 6- Papa John's pays drivers with their own money ( drivers money) who makes the delivery? Drivers do. Who's vehicle is used to make the delivery? Driver's own automobile. So delivery fee should be entirely owed to drivers but papa John's uses that money to pay drivers wages.
