A Company That Lives by its Values

Pros

Parasol is a company that lives by its values! Staff know what is expected of them and we are measured against our values on a regular basis. Communication is always clear - staff (regardless of their position) are always aware of what is going on within the company and even better we have a say in what happens within the company! Teamwork is a strength at Parasol - even if you're on call after hours you know you have a solid team behind you that is willing and able to assist if needed, even if it's at 3 am. The company culture at Parasol is one you won't find with many employers - it's one of many reasons why I work at Parasol and why I would recommend Parasol as an employer without hesitation.

Cons

There have been some growing pains along the way but we have successfully overcome all of them and I think that has just strengthened Parasol and the team!

Pros

Great company culture – The people and company culture here are top notch. Having previously worked for a competitor in the same niche market, I can say the work is the same, but the culture that’s been cultivated here at Parasol makes for a drastic difference. A lot of time and effort has gone into actively working to make Parasol a great company to work for an and it’s apparent in the caliber of staff that come to work here. Making a difference - It’s rewarding to work for senior living providers, knowing my work has a direct impact on their ability to provide the best quality care to their residents. We’re not working just to help a company improve their bottom line, but rather making a difference in the lives of thousands of seniors who depend on our clients.

Cons

Growing pains: Parasol is a young, growing company. We have our fair share of growing pains and learning moments that may not be experienced at larger organization. Figuring out what works as we expand is challenging at times, but it’s part of the adventure and makes overcoming these obstacles and succeeding even more rewarding. It’s not for everyone: The work is fast paced with high expectations: We do our best to offer clients exceptional service. This leads to high expectations of staff to perform. It’s a rewarding challenge but may not be for everyone. If you’re looking for a cushy IT gig to coast through a career, maybe look somewhere else. If you’re motivated to succeed and grow professionally, you’ll fit right in and have plenty of opportunity to expand your skills and advance your career as Parasol continues to grow.
