Pros

Nice people, PTO, quarterly events. New office will be in midtown by fox theater in August.

Cons

A lot of turnover in leadership over the past 18months that have been replaced by inexperienced individuals that aren’t equipped to drive the company forward. Lack of transparency among leadership, departments, and finance. Those that have equity are the ones sticking around but newer employees outside of engineering are always leaving. Compensation is below average if you’re not in senior leadership, but they try to make up for it with HSA matching and PTO. You may be given equity after your first year but you’ll have no idea how many shares are outstanding or what the current valuation is.

The reviewer makes a valid point that with our growth, there continues to be change up, down and across our company. We're not perfect but we strive to be the best company we can be. Our leadership team is solid and we all work hard together. There are new members and we are working on executing as a high functioning team. Leadership is focused not only on developing our reputation as a leader in the healthcare payments but also creating a great place for our team to come everyday. We regret that this reviewer has a negative view of our rewards program as we are transparent about how we use market data to guide our compensation decisions. Our benefits programs are also compared to others in our industry and we consistently score in the top quartile of offerings. Our focus is on excellence and bringing about a positive change to the healthcare industry.

Pros

Patientco has changed a lot; sometimes for the worse, but more often for the better. With any small company come growing pains, but we are swiftly growing out of them and scaling a business that is truly changing the impact we have on a growing affordability problem in healthcare. You are pushed to excel and learn what it takes to have high output.

Cons

There can be an unspoken bias around working late or longer hours, but that seems to be diminishing as we grow and add new talent.

Great people and technology on the cutting edge of technology. Comfortable work environment and focus on teamwork.

Cons

The office location isn't great for people who don't want to live in the city.
