Pros

Medical benefits were good. The onsite gym was really nice. The lunch options were good and at a reduced price was a big convenience. My manager and director were great.

Cons

While I was there several departments went through reorganizations of upper management. Executive leadership doesn't know what they want. They also make reactionary decisions and not proactive decisions. Your experience depends on who your manager is. They started to do leadership training but have recently laid off all of the HR team and have stopped providing any kind of leadership training (this was part of the reason why I was let go, I was involved in a lot of this training)

Pros

Cheap single person healthcare Cheap on campus meals If you get lucky, you’ll like your team.

Cons

Cheap promises Cheap employment There is no explanation for change. Change exists only for the sake of change. Why was the dress code changed? Because it has been 8 months since we up-ended the agile system. Why was the agile system changed? Because it has been 9 months since we brought everyone back in office. Why was WFH changed? Because we just had a record sales year and it was time for a change. You will not get a good reason for change in the workplace. It will change and you will be left to wonder why it matters.

At Paycom, we place great emphasis on cultivating an environment that fully supports all employees. With innovation being one of our core values, we embrace the idea that change is necessary. We understand that it can be difficult, but we believe the dress code adjustment will develop and build our team’s personal and professional brand. In addition, we trust being on campus unites our teams to ensure you and other employees are best equipped to succeed. We encourage you to discuss your concerns with your leader and HR Business Partner.
