Fellow technicians were great to work with

Cons

Service managers are mostly suckups to the upper management. They track your vehicle movement and driving habits. Then charge you 80 a month for that privilege. 90% utilization on their app. The same thing that happens to all companies who get bought out by equity companies.

-Difficult to convey how poorly run a company Peak now is. -Complete lack of strategy and the business is slowly dying. -Employees are completely disengaged across all sides of the business. -Senior leadership view employees as disposable with many redundancies based not on meritocracy but on the personal interests of the ‘Revenue Leader’ and HR. - Client focus has been significantly eroded with most now deeply unhappy - Many ex-Zebra people employed by Peak not realising how different operating at a partner level versus manufacturer level is- almost all have failed -VC that owns the business fails to see the issues as there is zero feedback loop from employees up the org- instead they trust the stories from ‘senior leadership’ who are oblivious to the gradual decay

I honestly think that the journey has been difficult in some ways, but I'm incredibly optimistic now that I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Merging companies comes with challenges, but I've also met some of the best coworkers and business partners imaginable through the process. I can honestly say that most of my coworkers really care and it feels like we're building something pretty special.

Cons

No major complaints from me.
