Large Company in a downward spiral, moving too quickly, making bad decisions

Pros

Benefits good not great; less and less each year Some great middle managers Some flexibility in work hours and working from home

Cons

Changes occurring too often, too quickly and without a defined plan. Culture has done a 360 over the last couple years; great to obsolete. Losing a lot of good people. Most of the new opportunities, roles, jobs were not available for all employees to review or apply to.

Pros

Not much lately. Best thing is they let you work remotely.

Cons

Three different designations of marketers leading to a constant cluster-you-know-what. Corporate culture shoved down your throat till you gag. Has become huge and impersonal and doesn't act or feel any longer like the company I started working for years ago. ZERO career development and opportunities to move around inside the company unless you are in sales.

Pros

Good smart people. Good products being developed. For the most part the employees care about the customer.

Cons

Recent reorgs have caused serious angst, dysfunction at the lower levels. Large political battles being fought at the higher levels. Worried the end result may be worsening customer experience and a significant reduction in product quality. Used to feel like a start-up/small shop mentality - now has turned into huge, bureaucratic organization.
