Pros

zero---Upper management doesn't care about their employees. When is the CEO and board going to take responsibility for what the have done.

Cons

Bonus are not paid company wide for 2016. Do to the lack of leadership and terrible descions made by the upper Mgmt. Stay far away from Pearson. More layoffs to come by summer. Don't be FOOLED by the rebranding of this company. It's sinking fast.

Pros

The people were what drove this company. Talent was oozing all over the place with a culture of innovation and a true dedication to the customer. Notice the past tense.

Cons

I get the struggle of a publishing company transitioning to digital, but as a former CEO once said, "it is easier to change while you are on top". Well, that time has come and gone. Now it is going to get tough. Nobody wants to be part of a sinking ship.

Pros

Remaining team members are really good people that care about their work and try to make the best of a difficult situation.

Cons

Pearson is going through many re-organizational changes and they have removed their leadership to London. There is a large disconnect between the London management and the US based teams. Communication is poor, there is no buy in into the US staff which is resulting in the loss of many highly knowledgeable and experience staff. Employees are not invested in and permanent employees are driven to leave by difficult and hostile working environments. It's truly unfortunate that a company with such promise and vision has such a poor working environment and treats their staff as just another tool to be used.
