10% 401k match. Spend a lot of money on picnics, employee events, but no money left for performance, spot bonus, etc.

Cons

low salary increase, everyone gets same percentage amount (2%) regardless of performance rating. Mgmt get involved with day to day drama. I assume not much to do. Having previously worked at a much larger organization, the VPs have much more work on there plate than to stir up the gossip mill

Friendly work environment. Highly competent coworkers. Leadership committed to excellent training and development of its staff. Hard work is recognized and rewarded.

Cons

Could use better technological infrastructure. Too many times where technology issues cost me too much time in getting work done.

Pros

Stable company. Does not over hire and is not a publicly traded company answering to shareholders. Very good life insurance and annuity products. Large enough to be a player in the industry, small enough to listen to their employees. Good benefit package for employees.

Cons

Pathetic pay and pay increases. Very behind the times in technology and many practices. Over worked and greatly under appreciated back office staff. The headquarters in Horsham are in the middle of no place. Small player in the financial services world and no clear vision on how to expand.
