Pros

Good benefits, opportunities for educations and certifications, teaching environment provides excellent chance for growth.

Cons

Some departments are run by uncaring, unqualified individuals. What do I mean by unqualified? Either brand new nurses in management roles that want to climb the ladder or nurses that have been in that position for decades and have not kept current with anything.

Great place to learn. Nurses are wonderful and so welcoming to new nurses & student nurses. The externship was an amazing experience, I would recommend to anyone!
