Pros

Pay and benefits were solid, but this is where the pros end.

Cons

Terrible culture of bullying by upper management down to Branch Managers and onto recruiters. Metric driven, meet your metrics, or be fired. But this also depends on how well liked you are. There are reports of starts and interviews sent out weekly and no one makes their numbers every week. If they do, they are fudging it. No advancing- every office is it’s own island, and the training team are the untouchables. You don’t have a work life balance- and YOU WILL NOT WORK REMOTELY, at the same time candidates do not come in the office. They are selling s hybrid schedule, but there are strings attached. Say it’s for safety, but the only branches who are allowed to be safe are those over s certain profit margin. Makes sense. Worst two years of my life.

PeopleShare is a team-oriented, collaborative, and innovative organization, and we understand that type of environment is not for everyone. We follow processes developed by our training team to help our managers and recruiters reach their specific goals. Our employees are encouraged to make suggestions on process improvements, bring new out-of-the-box ideas to improve workflows, step forward, take charge, and become an expert in their field. We’re sorry you feel this way after working for PeopleShare for 2 years, but this is not how all our managers feel about their experience. And please note that we DO NOT scrub our reviews, they are real reviews from our candidates and current employees. On average, 4.6 stars, to be more specific, our employees are very happy working for PeopleShare, but as you know it is not for everyone and we wish you luck in your career.

Pros

First and foremost, this is a real review and no one asked me to write it. While I don't doubt the legitimacy of the reviews below, I do believe that they are extremely biased to their specific office which in turn, makes PeopleShare as a whole look negative. I, thankfully, have not had a negative experience at PeopleShare. In a matter of a year and a half, I was promoted 2 times. In reference to a review below, I have never been asked to tell a candidate that a position was temp-to-perm if it wasn't. If I had been asked to do so, I would have absolutely refused and would have brought it to the attention to our Corporate Trainer. In terms of management, I can only speak for the managers in the branches that I have reported to but I can say that they all care about their employees and want them to be happy both at work and in their personal lives. The office where I work directly has a wonderful culture, everyone gets along well and supports one another when it comes to their placements. In terms of the actual job, Recruiting is not a job for someone who doesn't want to work really hard but it is fun and the harder you work, the more commission you make. Recruiting requires metric's and some people just simply don't do well in that environment but the metric's are not unrealistic. PeopleShare also has a strict process but this is for our own benefit so that we can properly share our candidates with the other branches. The process will help you develop into a better recruiter. Finally, Peopleshare is a growing company allowing for the opportunity for growth. I have seen several great recruiters get promoted within their branch as well as move into corporate roles.

Cons

Depending on your level of experience, you may be working and making placements for a year before you see any commission. Once you do start making commission, you will be getting shared commission which means you'll be getting paid for the placements your coworkers make. You have to be patient and see the bigger picture. The money will come and when it does, it will be worth it.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and share your experience. PeopleShare supports a positive work culture and has an open door policy, and we welcome employees to share suggestions, feedback or concerns at any time. We understand that speaking to a direct manager could be uncomfortable as you mentioned, and in this case we encourage any employee who does not feel comfortable reaching out to their direct manager to contact Human Resources directly. We take employee engagement seriously and are continually assessing new avenues to strengthen this process. Thank you again for taking time to share your thoughts and experience with us - it is greatly appreciated!

Pros

This was my first Job out of college and gave me experience learning how to work in an office environment.

Cons

First off, I am having trouble believing any positive review s on this website, I would not be surprised if they are fake. Not a single person in my office was happy with their job or the company. Even the recruiters who had been their for years all expressed varying levels of disinterest. The company will tell you that their is a lot of "room for growth". This is not true, they have very ambiguous requirements surrounding promotions. Even if you are consistently meeting goals, they have no set requirements so they will give a laundry list of what you are doing wrong but not tell you what you can do right or how to be promoted. The environment was horrible, I was actually told by another recruiter on my sixth week, that I should quit! I was terrified to ask questions and felt myself being tormented every time I asked one. On several occasions I was publicly belittled in front of the entire office. You will be expected to work 45+ hours a week, but not get paid for overtime or any type of commission. Management only steps in and pretends to care when they need to. My manager rarely conferenced with me to go over how things were going. I think I spoke with him less five times in a one on one environment in the year I was there. You have no job security, I watched several reps get hired and fired within the same month/week. Worst of all you are encouraged to lie to candidates, I told several people jobs would be "temp to perm" although they had no chance of being hired perm. You are encouraged to lie, I sill feel guilty and ashamed.
