Pros

Good pay and bonuses. Extra $2 per hour pay for bilingual Eng/Span sales. Contracted in my case to Optum, Inc. in Centennial,Colorado. Optum, in turn, is owned by big United Health Group along with Optum Rx and United Healthcare. A client of Optum -- a sales and customer care company -- is Kaiser Permanente. I sold both KP Affordable Care Act Individual and Family health plans (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum), as well as KP Senior Advantage (Part D Medicare Advantage) plans.

Cons

Optum now recruits using PSW as a contractor to find the seasonal Open Enrollment Period and Annual Enrollment Period (MA plans) salws agents. Big layoffs after enrollment periods mean no guaranteed permanent employment. Also, PSW does not offer any benefits.

Pros

The Staffing Manager's unending support and encouragement as well as the Branch Manager's. Towards the end of my time at PeopleShare there were many staff changes which meant getting more of a workload. With more workload, came the stress. Both managers saw this and immediately wanted to find solutions. This position required constant dedication, time management, organization, and the ability to deal with tough situations. But this also taught me valuable skills that I will always carry throughout the rest of my career. Some things that entry-level Coordinators, or Junior Recruiters will complain about because they expect instant reward for no honest hard-work.

Cons

The lack of acknowledgement or reward for the long hours and stress we constantly endured. Also, putting up with employees letting you down constantly. Clients were not any better with their constant unrealistic expectations and lack of respect to recruiters and employees. It would most likely be the same with any other staffing agency, so I am not technically singling out PeopleShare. It is just the industry. They took away 401k benefits at the end of 2015 which is a huge deal.

Thank you for your feedback! We are glad to hear you had the support of your managers during transitional times and were able to gain valuable career experience throughout the process. We are sorry you feel that we did not acknowledge your hard work the way we should have, and we appreciate that you brought it to our attention so we are able to address this better in the future. Also, as we are committed to continual improvement and recognize the importance of retirement planning, we are in the process of revisiting 401k options at this time as well. Thank you again, and we wish you the best in your career!
