Pros

With the high turnover, eventually you will get the hours ( shifts ) you want. You can advance from Tier 1 to Tier 2 easily. But switching to from any other departments is difficult. Work with many people, friendly. If you meet metrics you can bonus and that can add up to hundreds of dollars each month on top of your hourly pay.

Cons

The only way to be successful is to respond to callers in a repetitive fashion. Otherwise you get too caught up in trying to explain why the rules are the way they are. If you are old school customer service this is too difficult. You have to balance your time in the escalation position between customers and dealers, and the dealers call YOU for the wrong things and it eats your time to do your real job. The other departments / managers that should be assisting these dealers either don't know how, or won't give the time to assist. If you can be freakishly cold to the people you speak with, you can succeed -- meaning keep your job AND get the bonuses.

Pros

I have to provide you with a minimum of 20 positive words about this company but all I can provide you with is, My coworkers. Today was my last day. If you need to get a job quickly then apply because they are desperate for labor.

Cons

Spent the last 7 years working for them. HR didn’t give a darn that I was leaving, I tried to Explain why I was leaving but not interested, there was no exit interview. He was more concerned he said in trying to hire on a bunch of new people for a recall. Things have really changed and for the worst! Metrics are manipulated, HR is a joke, merit increase is pennies. No support and conflicting messages. Yearly performance reviews are worthless and no Advice or guidance is given. Most jobs are going to Manila now. All of this comes down from the top. They are making cuts big time. And the people they aren’t cutting are abandoning a sinking ship. Overall moral is very bad and not just in one department but almost all of them

Not much room for advancement They hardly ever give raises and the merit increases are a joke Every since the original HR team all left at once, the HR department has been an evolving door

Percepta does have a very formal performance appraisal process, as well as an objective merit guideline process, that aligns with our pay-for-performance culture. I would like to respectfully address your comment regarding the turnover of the HR team. You are correct in that there has been some turnover within the HR team over the past few years (although the majority of the HR team has been stable and consistent). As the organization continues to grow and develop, naturally, there will be occasional turnover within the team as we work to ensure we have the right professionals in place.
