Pros

Great place to work with lots of opportunity to grow within the company. There are always positions to apply for and to get promoted to. The HR team is great and helps out with any questions.

Cons

Not compensated for what you are worth.

Pros

The people are what I miss the most about working for Percepta. The team environment is like nothing that I've ever experienced. The employees do their best to make what is mostly a negative atmosphere better.

Cons

Ford Motor Company is the only client at Percepta. Therefore, management is very wary to make any waves when it comes to client satisfaction. If the client is unhappy with you or has somehow formed a negative opinion of you, your tenure is in jeopardy. Management is not willing to stand up to the client when they attempt to interfere in matters that do not concern them. In a traditional BPO you see, depending on the size of the center, up to 5 client reps per line of business. There are more "Ford Managers" at Percepta than there are Percept Managers. I was with Percepta for more than 9 years and watched them go from the place everyone wanted to get into to the place that everyone avoided. All due to the client stripping more and more of the site management's power. Sad.

We use this environment to our benefit so that we can effectively partner with clients and establish trusting relationships with all of them We have changed our strategic vision over the last 9 years (as every company that grows & evolves has to do) in an effort to continuously improve and offer exceptional customer support to our customers and clients. Pros

Has employee recognition events once in a while.

Cons

Poor management and leadership.Human resources makes it clear, that employers are able to take action on negative publicity or posting negative thoughts or reviews since we are a "right to work state". I fear for my job but feel that people have the right to be aware of their future (possible) employer's practices. Any offers outside of your offer letter ensure you get in writing. We were told we could work from home, but because it was not in writing, a year later and new management later, we are being forced to return to the office. If you read anything in this review **get any offers in writing** I can only speak to my experiences in the training dept. and the HR dept. I have worked at multiple employers and have been in the education and learning environment long enough to know that these practices are not the industry standard.
