Pros

Great Company. Sr. Management really cares and are very open about the the future of the Company's goal and objectives. Working from home is a great benefit. Very knowledgeable team who are passionate about what they do. Very focused on Customer Services.

Cons

Not meeting with team face to face regularly to share ideas as everyone works remotely.

Pros

*strong leadership who backs the team on their mission *Percona being a leader in the space helps greatly with new business development *One big team - unlike many companies Percona really acts like one big team. That is not to say it is all roses, but everyone is on the same mission and really buys into that. *Remote work - for someone who can manage their own time this is a HUGE pro. My commute is 18 seconds. *Percona is growing quickly and this means that there is constant change. The company is constantly getting feedback and tweaking slightly to stay on course.

Cons

*Percona is growing quickly and this means that there is constant change - this is also listed in the pros. With continued change and adjustment some people have a hard time with this. *Data space may not be seen as sexy. Though I look at it as the foundation of any great product. *Slight isolation feeling - being remote can also mean feeling like you are on an island at times. To counter this there are many ways which teams keep in constant contact to ensure that team bonds are formed. That said, for some it can be hard if you go for a long time without ever seeing your coworkers face.

Pros

It's a fabulous place to work with great colleagues. You can work remotely from home or in one of the offices across North America. The flexibility is great. Management is very helpful and only there to help you achieve your goals. Can't say enough good things about Percona.

Cons

Working remotely may not work for everyone, but if you're self motivated and love what you do, Percona is an awesome fit.
