Pros

I've worked at other start-ups before, but none compare to what PernixData has achieved in their first year. Our two founders are industry veterans and very committed to the company. The R&D team is best in class with a diverse background and with a strong can-do attitude. Everybody is friendly and very passionated about what they do. The product is highly innovative and addresses a huge market. Pernix has excellent benefits even compared to larger players including unlimited PTO and no out-of-pocket expenses for health care.

Cons

The only downside is the office but we'll move soon to a bigger facility.
