Pros

PernixData had something special. I enjoyed coming in to work every day. Medical benefits are superior, on-site perks were great and the office space itself was phenomenal.

Cons

Had some bumps in the road with layoffs, etc.

Excellent managing team, friendly colleagues, transparent high-level management, awesome benefits, good staff, challenging technology.

Cons

Company is not growing fast enough. Some engineers from the first hires / founding team are leaving.

Interesting space, interesting products. hard-core collaborative working environment. Tough sales environment but a good place for engineers to get experience working on VMware private cloud products.

Cons

None in particular, as a contrator working remotely I had little sense of the day-to-day.
