PernixData reviews

Customers, partners and employees all seem to take a back seat to egos of the founders and product management. A large disconnect exists between what the customer and partners get from the product and relationship. Several people have been promoted to the inner circle not for their merits but for their loyalities - this has created a rift and cultural issues. The products bugs and issues made it a challenge in the field with POCs stalling or failing. All in all, it was a frustrating group to be a part of. ALSO - asking us to give high marks on review sites to cancel out those that left, vote for the company in industry awards categories even when it was against the terms of voting, etc was grossly dishonest

Terrible company. Management is very inexperienced. Management "suggests" that employees should add positive reviews to Glassdoor, and they also ask employees to write positive feedback in various "Great Place to Work" surveys. PernixData is NOT a great place to work. It is a demoralizing place to work. There were about 180 employees prior to August 3, 2015. Prior to that for nearly two years, all the internal hype caused PernixData employees to write those positive reviews. Poor performance of sales revenues the last four of eight quarters GA have reduced the internal hype among individual contributors significantly. Don't be fooled and don't trust the positive reviews you read on Glassdoor or any other site/survey. PernixData is hype.
