Hours are severely cut because "we went over budget" and the most hours are only given to the managers...when you're hired, they try not to have you start off higher than $8-$8.50/hour because you "get raises." The first couple raises are standard: $0.10 at 3 months, $0.15 at 6 months then at 1 year when you supposedly get your review (I never got one) one of your managers determines your raise. It will be lower than $0.15 even with an outstanding star review according to my managers. So starting from $8/hour you don't even make it to $8.50 with raises!! I have been there for over a year probably 2 years now and still am making under $8/hour when my coworker's who have been there less time than me are making more because they were hired by a different manager...

Change is happening for the right reasons but it is coming so quickly that the same process can change three or four times and the communication is not consistent so different areas are more up to date than others, but you are held accountable whether the communication has gotten down to the individual store or not.
