Pros
I chose to be part-time in order to have any kind of work-life balance, that was the only way to control any kind of schedule even after working there for so many years but there is plenty of money to be made even as a part-timer.
Cons
Corporate culture is very relevant, how many dogs can you do, how many dogs can you fit into your schedule, can you fit anymore? They don't care if your hands hurt- they want you to make them as much money as you can under the guise that you're making yourself money and for a long time I fell for it because I was young and making a ton of money and now I'm older and my body has really pushed itself to its limits. This is a super labor-intensive job and PetSmart needs to do more to take care of its groomers.
