employee discount for pets learned basic care for animals i may not have known without this job when you arent strapped to the cashier like a prisoner because no one will let you train in other departments out of laziness, you can interact with animals sometimes puppies and kittens that you can hold

literally everything lazy management that cuts corners which results in animals becoming sick and even dying no one wants to train you so good luck if you land the cashier position, youll be there forever having to monetize the life of an animal, being held responsible for their lives by customers even though you just punch numbers there some of the most insanely rude customers who will kill you for a 85c can of cat food people letting their dogs pee and poop all over the store, not cleaning it up, and making every customer in a 5 foot radius tell you about it while you have a line insanely pushy "puppy guide" rewards. monitored like big brother to sell them, and encouraged to sneak it into customer's total without consent just to make numbers. i hate this place. never been back since
