      Pros

      Get to work around animals. Better pay than most part time places. The very few nice co-workers.

      Cons

      Ignorant management, they can care less about their employees. The one manager finds pleasure in causing the employees pain! The managers pick favorites, if they don't like you they will pick on you and blame you for stuff until you quit. They are very immature as well... giggling over the announcements that they make. I feel bad for the customers having to hear some of the announcements. It's really sad.. I've been waiting to be sent for grooming academy for a year, it's all because I'm not a suck up to the management team.

      Pros

      I am new but so far it is about what I expected. It's retail, which I understand very well, not a shelter or a rescue facility. This is a more interesting retail experience, having the animals around, which is nice. It's a great place to gain experience and get a start in animal care, which is what I want to get out of it. The people are nice. I see alot of oppurtunity to move up if you do your job.

      Cons

      The pay is a little lower then I expected but not bad. My store is kind of old and a little smaller than I'm use too, also there is no Pet Hotel.
