No upward mobility. Meaningless, horizontal promotions with no pay increase. All management hired from outside, few, if any, promotions of veterans with experience in the store AND with animals. Poor scheduling leads to understaffed, overworked team members. Issues between employees were never dealt with by upper management. The push from district management to sell Puppy Guides extended beyond people that actually worked in the right departments. People in the hotel side had hours cut due to low puppy guide sales despite the fact that they literally never interface with customers beyond handing them their dog.
