      You get to see animals at work.

      Cons

      - Not enough hours are given for necessary tasks - Hours given do not support the needs of the business - Significantly exceed sales plan but hours do not reflect - Corporate has not been supportive of store needs during Covid - Other companies restricted customer access during Covid, PetSmart did not - Corporate laid off associates during Covid but did not give leaders a say in who was laid off versus who stayed - Quarterly bonuses were taken away from leaders during Covid, regardless of metrics - Leaders are not treated fairly - Groomers make more than Store Leaders - Significant favoritism by District Leaders - No help from HR Department regarding abusive District Leaders The list goes on and on. I wouldn't recommend PetSmart to my worst enemy.

      Pros

      Being able to work mainly with dogs all day. Getting tips. Build relationships with regular customers. Feel proud of your work.

      Cons

      Management isnt the greatest. Lack of help when needed. Scheduling can be stressful and frustrating.
