Working here will make you feel bitter and used. What gets said, tweeted, posted etc is complete BS. There is no “Petco family”, we are not “in it together”, you don’t “work for me.” Instead senior leaders make decisions and do things to promote themselves at the expense of others. No one cares about you and don’t expect anyone to do the right thing here - for employees or for the company. It’s every man for himself, starting from the very top. Women constantly marginalized and put down, even by other women. D&I initiatives are meaningless blather.

Where to start? Hostile, dog-eat-dog culture. I’ve never seen people treated with such disrespect, despite all the equalitymatters# and #dignityfor all posts by management. Petco routinely cycles through people with total disregard to the impact on them and their families. Upper management gets almost completely replaced every 2-3 years because nothing works here and no one pulls in the same direction. When the manager changes, so do the reports. Come here at your peril.
