I agree your working space was small, Los Lunas is one of the smallest grooming spaces in our company, unfortunately it was the only way to fit the groom shop and the sales floor. We are happy to hear you enjoyed working with Jake, all of his employees seem to really love him!

Pros

Very friendly and comfortable work environment. A lot of work to do, so the time goes by very fast! Dress Code is Business Casual, including Jeans everyday.

Cons

6 Paid Holidays a year (day after Thanksgiving is not one of them). Medical, Dental and Vision for Employee only is close to $100 a month. Paydays are on that dreadful pay period of two days a month. . . theirs I believe was the 15th and 30th. I didn't stay long enough to get a paycheck. The pay is not based on experience and is not competitive to the Scottsdale area. I was hoping to make the pay work but after being hired I found out about the holiday pay and medical/dental/vision coverage and knew I couldn't make it work. The hour are 8AM - 5PM NO FLEX WORK SCHEDULE allowed.

Love the atmosphere; very open communication; recognized for a job well done; in control of my store like its my own business; low stress.

Cons

Lots of promotions lately without posting to existing managers that there's an opportunity for advancement. It's very undiscerning and discouraging.
