Not the company I started for 10 years ago

Pros

Good people, good benefits, management culture generally does not promote micromanagement (your mileage may vary)

Cons

Sky high attrition rate, slow moving, very poor communication around pending layoffs, "business transformation" that is focused on nothing but reducing short term costs (almost certainly to detriment to future operations). Poor career management.

Pros

I have an amazing boss but that could change at anytime. The gym is nice.

Cons

If you have any sort of technical skill this isn’t the company for you. This company has terrible benefits compared to tech and financial industry and they are below average across big oil and gas. You only get ONE wfh day because we are a WORK FROM WORK culture as stated by the ceo. The wfh day that we get is like a bandaid used to stop young talent from leaving but it hasn’t worked. You only get just two weeks of paternal leave which is just horrible. Also they tarnished the company’s reputation due to the whole debacle with COVID where the ceo forced people to come in the office during the peak of deaths.
