Pros

Everyday is fun working at the zoo. The people are great and the animals are even better. It is one of the most enjoyable jobs I have ever had.

Cons

The vast majority of the jobs at the Phoenix Zoo are part time jobs. Also, since the zoo is a non-profit the pay isn't great. Full-time positions are hard to come by.

Pros

I loved working here! Being around the animals everyday made me look forward to going to work. Plus the co-workers were always so nice and helpful.

Cons

Sometimes it smells but I guess thats what you get for working at a zoo. Also, during school field trips it gets kinda flustered.

Bad and Becoming Worse

Pros

Flexible scheduling, free membership, discount on food, gift shop, and events.

Cons

Clique-ish coworkers who are extremely rude, management that act like tyrants and refuse change, even when it comes to safety and keeping their employees' morale high, disconnected lines of communication between management and individual workers, outdated equipment and no intent on management's end to replace them, poor working conditions, overworked and understaffed constantly.
